The Des Moines Writers Connection is a group of writers encompassing experienced published authors (both self- and traditionally-published) through members who are just "thinking" of writing. The 2020-21 Anthology is an exercise to engage the creativity of our group in a collaborative project.

Short stories to evoke memory, emotion, discomforting contemplation by the reader. The five short fictions reflect on conflict, death, and dark humor encapsulated in digestible flash-fiction omniscient and first-person narratives.

This vivid anthology of the students of The College of the Florida Keys features poems, stories, and essays, as well as underwater photography features. In addition, the winners of the annual Elizabeth Bishop Poetry Prize are included in each annual issue. Find works centered on music, history, relationships, and the landscape of The Florida Keys.

Follow the adventures of Daggett the Frog, Squeaks the Mouse and Sassy the Cat from their humble beginnings and onto their various adventures! They include being zapped into the world of Dragons, traveling to Las Vegas to defeat a threatening demon, visiting the world of Dragons again to save Christmas and as they venture off to Africa to find the kidnapped President of Animals Big & Small! Also included are 31 black and white illustrations, along with journal entries and input from the author Nicholas Miller and his co-writer, Heather Butler.
